Community Musicality Salón / Pista Social Technique
Mina and Giraldo have been sharing Argentine Tango in London since 2000. Mina’s background includes Pilates and choreography; Giraldo also trained in acting and contemporary dance theatre. At Corrientes Social Club, their interest in how the body works shapes lessons on posture, balance, musicality and communication. The emphasis on social Argentine Tango and Salón / Pista connects learning with the shared dance floor. Classes, prácticas and social evenings offer different ways to become part of the club’s community.
A possible fit for you You want to understand the mechanics of comfortable movement and make social dancing part of your routine.
Teaching approach & your first visit Teaching focus: Posture and coordination · Partner communication · Musical interpretation · Community
The school explicitly centres social Argentine Tango, movement technique and musicality. Its theatre credentials do not establish an Escenario course.
A first conversation: New to Argentine Tango? Use the dedicated beginner route. For the weekly workshops, ask which foundations their Intermediate or Intermediate Plus class expects.
