Barrio Conexión is a public discovery and community service. Create a Barrio account to save discoveries, follow teachers and schools, use guided practice and choose optional community features.
Shared account information
Your Barrio account connects saved places, practice records and optional community features. As participating schools enable services, it can also hold bookings, attendance, memberships, benefits and credits.
Email sign-in, verification and password reset use Auth0. Barrio does not store your password. Authorised clients use the same canonical account; a school can access only information authorised for its own services.
Your partner profile is optional. Only signed-in account holders can view opted-in profiles. Your email is not published. You can hide your profile, block someone and export your account data from My Barrio.
Ask the maestro
Your questions, optional context, school preference, language and publication choice are saved privately with your account identifier. The editorial team can review them. A submission does not contact a teacher. We will not publish your name or private context, and will ask before publishing unless you have permitted publication without your name. Withdraw a question from Ask the maestro, or include it in your account export and deletion.
Your choices
Deleting your Barrio account revokes app access and removes personal profile and community data. Cancel upcoming bookings first. Restricted transaction and safety records may need to be retained; identity-provider erasure is handled separately. Contact info@barrioconexion.com about a deletion request.
Your weekly Barrio email
One reviewed weekly update: places to dance, beginner opportunities and approved teacher features. English edition. Optional and separate from booking messages.
Language settings
Your language preference is stored on this device for future visits. It does not change the language of external websites or other members’ messages.
Cookies and outside links
Barrio uses essential sign-in and language settings. Optional discovery attribution is separate and requires an affirmative choice. External organisers and music services apply their own policies. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts.
After you choose, a preference cookie remembers the decision for up to 90 days. Only opting in permits a random referral cookie, also lasting up to 90 days. Signing in can link consented discoveries to your canonical account. Your account preference follows you across authorised clients. Turn it off in My Barrio or change it here to stop new attribution. Previously recorded transactions and audit evidence are retained separately. A click is never a purchase.
Contact enquiries
Contact delivery and retention also depend on FormSubmit’s published policy and copies held in our mailbox.
Contact form messages are processed by FormSubmit and sent to info@barrioconexion.com, including your name if supplied, email address, topic, language, reference and message. They are not published or saved in your community profile.
You can ask about access or deletion by emailing us. Copies in our mailbox and the delivery service are separate from your account data.

Connected services and retention
Connected payments and school services remain unavailable in the public community edition. Retention periods for commercial and safety records require an operator review before those services are enabled. Contact us for an access, export or deletion enquiry.
